GB: '93-95 AND '99-Spec Sakebomb Garage Oil Cooler Kits!
93+ doesnt need ducts as the cooler sits directly on top of the inlet. The 99 could use ducts... however, they would only work with stock 99 bumpers and may require the 99 rebar to clear. Basically what we could offer would be so limited that most customers still end up in the position of making their own (plus they are quite simple to make with some tin snips, a piece of aluminum sheet, and some matte black spray paint
. Even without ducts, we have had customers test this setup at the track and could not get the car to overheat.

I really hope you guys have another GB in the spring/summer.
I would love to get a 25row kit.
This is literally the last thing I need to do to get the car working the way it should. The stock, single oil cooler, has seen better days. I've tried straightening some of the fins, but the previous owner must've lived in the sticks or something. Lots of insects have died a horrible death.
Here's hoping for more kits!

Neo:
if you look the GB was only for 75$ and for the hassle of the wait of a GB IMHO its worth just paying it if they have a kit ready to go now... just my 2c
speaking of which do you guys have any kits ready to go now? or what would the wait time be for the ordered specifics?

That's the thing. I don't have 1G kicking around right now. I would've signed up for the GB right away if I had that type of money. Alas, I'll have to wait till spring to get that done. There are too many other things that have to be taken care of first.
It's winter time right now anyways. FD won't see the road till at least April or so.

Chris

Neo, we have plenty of brackets now and we should be running another GB in the next month or two; but unfortunately we will have to raise the prices since the cost of raw materials has gone up. Don't worry though, it's not by much

This group buy is closed!
We are still offering the coolers at regular price. We will be running another group buy in the next month or two

I received my oil cooler kit and it is simply amazing! The light wight aluminum brackets really impressive! and was a nice surprise! The nylon lines are also feather light and look like they will do an amazing job holding oil pressure. The coolers are light years ahead of the stock skimpy core. Even the Japanese spec upgrades I noticed, don't even use this type of core which will do wonders for removing heat and preventing overheating situations. I would say if you have an RX7. You really have to get one of these!
After a short uphill low speed canyon driving my stock cooler was not removing the heat. Even with an upgraded radiator
Im going to do a few more changes like 185 thermostat and a early start fan switch. I have an AST as well so this should complete my cooling system. I don't think I can ever run hot once I install this cooler kit along with everything else!

Any idea when the GB will be going on? I'm in the market for this right now!
Looking to get the 93+, Track, Nylon Lines.
Also will this clear my setup? I've got a Koyo Radiator w/HKS V-Mount
