I have been trying to get ahold of Ramy (FDNewbie) for over a week now. I sent him my Spirit-R key so he could make replicas for ppl here and have not heard from him since I mailed it... I have sent several pm's and emails through his site and no response.

 

he's probably busy with his real life stuff (finding rice parts doesn't pay the bills).
sometimes he'll dissapear for a month at a time, but he's working on orders in the background.
i suspect he'll resurface in a week or so.

 

i was told he was sick this week and should be answering emails this weekend

 

He doesn't read PM's and takes a long time to answer e-mails as well so just be patient. Any customer of ramy knows patience is a must.

I wondered if it was something like that.. I just am getting a little uneasy b/c I have had no responses and like I said he has a copy of my key. Hopefully I will hear from him this weekend.

I have been waiting to hear from him for three weeks. I think He's in Jersey on much deserved vacation.I am sure he will get back to us.

 

Don't confuse vacation for education....he almost NEVER gets a vacation, he works more then anyone I know.

 

^ yeah man. huge respect for him. med school + successful online business with what i can only assume are screwed up hrs (having 2 deal with japan) and a client base that is any combination of demanding, always wants rare parts, cheapskates (just us FC guys )

damn hard working kid, i hope he finally starts to make some big $ when he gets his lisence..he deserves it.

Wow...every time I get sick, my personal life somehow manages to become the subject of a forum thread lol. It never fails, I tell ya...

Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words; I'm just now getting back on my feet. Still not feelin 100%, but I'm bangin out responses as fast as I can. All forum threads have already been responded to, so that's one down, many many more to go

Oh and jmeyer93, thanks for the vote of confidence...but how come I received a notification that you filed a Paypal dispute...and on a GB that hasn't even closed yet? If you have a concern, plz bring it to me FIRST...there's no need to go the Paypal dispute route. And if you already have emailed me, as you just said yourself, I WILL get back to you shortly.

+1, I still don't know how he manages to do it all. I'm starting to think Ramy is some sort of machine with technological capabilities so at the forefront of innovation that we have yet to hear about it. Only problem is that he apparently gets "sick", which I can only explain as being a pre-emptive cover-up so that no one reveals or stumbles upon his true identity. I'm on to you Ramy...

Eh...it wasn't all that. It looked like it was going to be some epic event from the trailers. Came out of it more like "it wasn't bad..." and that's about it. Watch Vantage Point instead.
