I'm pleased to report positive progress .
I received a pick up notice yesterday. After calling around I talked with our supplier and he confirmed the pick up was for the dampers. He also wanted to extend his apologies to everybody for the looooong wait and has assured me he is on top of everything. I immediately packaged up the dampers with a note detailing the exchange and left them for the UPS guy.

K here's what I have...
I JUST got off the phone w/ NRG a few seconds ago. Apparently the guys who took our order also took more than that: they grabbed the customer list, order info, database, etc, ran off, and never came back. So NRG's been trying to reconstruct that info ever since, and are just now getting back on top of things.
Of course, I expressed my understanding and sympathy for their situation. But I made it CLEAR that they also need to understand my situation, and that this order is almost a YEAR old now...so it MUST take #1 Priority w/ them, and ASAP. And I was assured it would.
So at this point, I'll be calling back early this coming week to hear re: part availability and if it's ready to ship etc. Hopefully I'll have some positive progress to share w/ you guys.
Thanks again for your patience, and our apologies for the delay (despite it not being in our hands).

Ok this is gettin kinda fishy now. I spoke w/ someone else today (on purpose) who confirmed that they DO indeed have 7 CF 1/2 pressure hood dampers in stock for the FD. So come Monday I'm gonna try and put someone between a rock and a hard place. If nothing satisfactory comes of it, I'm prob. gonna post up the names and phone #s here to see if 7 more ppl calling and harassing about parts owed to them can light a hot enough fire under 'em

7 day's later after your last post have you got any new's if they sent the stuff ???
Ok, I JUST got off the phone w/ 'em... they're in our handler's hands (long story lol), but most importantly, they're on their way out to be shipped to us as we speak!

I will delay shipping until I can confirm we received the correct dampers. The labeling is odd and I don't have the previous dampers to compare with. I'll keep you guys in the loop with what's going on.
