GB: 99spec Wing Equipped Hatch Struts!

Well guys, as per your request, here's the group buy! For those of you who aren't familiar w/ this, there are three types of hatch struts used by Mazda:

1. Hatches w/o a spoiler
2. Hatches w/ a 99spec spoiler
3. Hatches w/ a 99spec spoiler + rear wiper

While hatch strut failure is primarily due to age/wear, many in the US have complained about the accelerated wear of these hatch struts after installing the 99spec spoiler on the hatch, which is a direct effect of using a heavier spoiler than was intended for the hatch strut. Hence this GB on the hatch struts designed specifically to hold up a hatch with the heavier urethane 99spec spoiler! So with that, lets get the ball rolling.

Price: $150 + domestic (US) shipping

NP guys. No need to copy/paste the list; I'm editing the first post to keep everything nice and clean Just indicate if you'd like to be added to the list.

Thanks

How long will this GB last and when do you think we can get it all wrapped up?

Thanks for the constant effort you put in to the forum Rammy.

How long? Once the list stops growing at a significant rate. Not too long, don't worry.

And my pleasure...any way I can help

I'm surprised there is such a lack of interest in this GB.

I don't know off-hand how much these badboys weigh, but it shouldn't cost more than $10 - $15 to ship them 2-day USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.

Heath, I try and only charge for exactly what it costs me to ship. And given that I don't have any weights or dimensions on the struts after they're packaged up, it's gonna be hard to estimate how much it'll cost to ship. So yea, I'll collect the cost of the struts themselves up front, then shoot ppl individual shipping quotes for exactly how much it costs, collect that, and ship 'em out promptly.

Re: the rear seat back part, I kinda forgot what you were looking for. Email me at Info@FDNewbieImports.com plz.

Thanks!

Given that we are 6 shy of having a "full" GB is this still going to go through?

I personally don't mind continuing with it, even with only a few ppl signed up. But I'd like to hold out another week or so, to see if we can at least get 5 ppl. Sound good?

Heath, Jason (BlueRex) will be posting payment info on the thread.

Yes I got it. But due to the overwhelming volume of emails I get, and the fact that I do this part-time as a hobby (I have a full-time job lol), I only get to answer emails twice a week. So sit tight; I'll get to it

Thanks!

Hey you moved up on the list ..nice

Ya, don’t want to miss this, get some info up here so we can get in and payed before forgetfulness sets in.

Now that the cold weather is setting in, maybe more people are feeling the effects of impotent struts and more interest will develop.
