FDnewbie Dual oil coolers

Do we have an ETA on when it will be available or updates? I'm very interested in your set up. I read thru the other thread and I'm curious when we can purchase this item from you.

The dual oil cooler kit is essentially complete; the only thing I haven't finished is making larger oil cooler ducts, but given how large the oil cooler cores are, lets just say that no ducts will be necessary

Still working on the price, we're aiming for the price to be around $1,200. Maybe a little less....buuuuuuuut here is a little teaser pic

Kit will include:
2- 25 row oil coolers (black, optional silver)
- pre-assembled and pressure tested push-loc hoses and fittings, the fittings are black/gunmetal and the lines are black. (optional stainless lines extra)
- oil thermostat
- All fittings required to replace the lines from the front cover and oil pedistal
- mounting brackets and hardware

This kit is designed to work with the OEM 93-95 bumper and we're looking for a 99 spec bumper to test on as well. We'd like for this kit to work on both bumpers. This kit will also work with aftermarket bumpers, but will require ducting to take full advantage of the coolers.

Looks like your trying to have the fittings exit the top side. Most exit the ground side and cause people to cut or trim the moldings underneath. Hope it works since it' looks like a nice setup.

Yea Tim for a few reasons we didn't think having the fittings & lines on the bottom side was a good idea. And everything fits no problem.

So both this kit and the v-mount are being designed for '99? I may have to buy yours instead of redesigning my rotary extreme kit because it has given me trouble...

Both the v-mount and dual oil cooler it are being designed to work with the 99 spec bumper and stock bumper. Well thats what we're working on at least. As long as we don't have any issues, the oil cooler kit should be finilized by this week. One of the main reasons for the delay was the v-mount development. Now that we have the prototype done, we were able to put a stock radiator back in to ensure fitment.

OMG...

Thx Ramy! I'll take one as soon as you're selling them!

Oh and if you ever want to develope ducts for the C-West N1 front bumper(as it's almost as common as the S6 bumper) You can feel free to use my car as a test bed.

We can do custom ducting for you since we're in Delaware....a little over an hour from lancaster
I don't think we have any plans for a single oil cooler upgrade at this time.

Regards,
-Dan

Our ducting kit will not be specific to any one bumper, but we will do our best to make it work with all bumpers without having to cut or modify it

Since we had a nightmare car in our shop, we have not had a chance to finalize the kit...so this week the kit should be finished and then we can work out group buy pricing.

I'm curious if this is overkill or even needed at all for a twin BNR setup for a daily driver that does track time on weekends in the summer? Thoughts?

If you have a single oil cooler, yes, if you have R1 duals I'd say depends on the climate where you drive but still helpful, especially track/high hp.

You should only have one, look in the ducts. I would get these oil coolers in that case.

Awesome, I'm in then. Another thing to add to the budget. It' started at 10k, then 20k, and now its creeping to 30k... And last week someone suggested I get coil-overs too so keeps adding to it...
