Get the car shipped over here as a parts car. take fenders, seats, lights etc. off. ship separately. You should have no problem getting it past customs. Look on the nhtsa website and call the RI in costa mesa, CAlifornia. Black Rhine motors i think. Talk to cornell. He might be able to help you get it here. Dont waste his time. Be direct with you questions and dont sound like a dumb ***. You are able to do it. dont give up.

I have friends... but most don't want to take care of my car because they dont want to be resposible for it.corkbone: I'd love to bring it back as a parts car. I'm looking into it. It's just that I'm running out of time.

That's it right on the money. FD Okinawa's car is SO nice that I would hate for anything to happen to the paint/interior/engine. I'd feel bad if I just farted in the car, much less putting a scratch on the paint

Bret is trying his best to do so! All of the tie-ties have been replaced with metal fasteners and bolts, a stereo has been installed and Bret is adding aero parts from Chris's old yeller FD.
He owns a 3 rotor FC now. It's in the body shop getting repainted right now. He removed the PP motor and installed a SP with 3 ITB's. This car is really sweet. It's actually kinda famous in Japan.

If yes, I have it on DVD. Awesome sound. Tsuchiya said the car was a "Dorifto Machinda".
