where are the cool car things to do here? shops? museums?

 

Go head on over to Toyota-shi. Toyota head quarters...lots of car stuff there. its about 20 minutes from Nagoya. I used to live there when I worked for Toyota. There's a Nagoya upgarage too that should have a fair amount of fun used parts to see/buy.

 

go to KKM Rotary shop its in Nagoya. I will see if I can find it on google map for you.

If you wanna come to Shizuoka (less than one hour from Nagoya) I can take you to Okabe Jidosha Motorsport.

Next sunday is the Super GT, i have a free seat in my FD if you wanna join.

Eating Tebasaki, and Miso Tonkatsu (yabaton). Plus visit Naprec (if you like hardcore engine stuff), Toyota Museum, Nagoya Castle are all things I would do out there.

oops. haha. oh **** i forgot about this site when i went there. i was there for a year studying abroad. i saw some cool garages, but never found a junkyard or parts shop. i did check out toyota-shi since it was the next town over, kansai(kyoto, osaka, kobe), nagano for snowboarding, shizuoka, and couple of school excursion trips. i wish i checked back on this site while i was there. i feel stupid. lol
