Hey everyone,

Just trying to get a feel for how many people are in the Kadena area that would be into having some car meets twice a month or so?

I helped run a couple car clubs back in the states and we always had a good time. Is also nice to network a bit in case you need some help working on your ride.

If we can get enough people together I was thinking of doing something out at Kadena Marina around the middle of next month.

Anyone interested?

 

I'm on Kadena, but don't have a 7.....yet. It all depends on my orders. I'd go out though.

I'm stationed on Futenma. Got a silver '93 RX-7 from Project Dream Run right outside Kadena's gate on 58. I'd be interested in meeting some of the other RX-7 owners in the area...

It might not be 7's only, the RCCA (www.rccaokinawa.com) is a good place to start with finding car events on island.

If you're looking for 7's only get-together's and group drives........good luck. Sorry to say, but it's not like that here. You will find a lot of good people that drive other cars so it's a good idea be open to any events going on.

There are already events that go on monthly.

Its difficult to find a weekend/weekday that everyone is able to attend, due to scheduals and such, but there are regular 'events' or 'gatherings' that go on pretty frequently. Its usually a big mix of cars though. Always a good time however.

IMO, there is a huge rotary knowledge 'base' here in Okinawa. Get out and talk to some people...come hang out.
