How much is your tax?
Hey guys, well im actually quite pleased with my car tax bill this year, it isnt as much as i expected. Can anyone tell me exactly how it is calculated?

Mine was Y40,000

It's based off of the car's engine size, weight and width. Y40,000 is normal for a non-Y plate 300 series vehicle under 4.5liters.

wow, really only 40000Yen for 1 Year?
Including insurance?
I have to pay that much for 2 months for a FC here in austria

no that's just the annual number plate tax, complusory 3rd party insurance is another 25,000?yen per 2 years along with another 80,000? yen tax also payable every 2 years
