i will be going to tokyo, japan in january 8 2009 does anyone know the date for the tokyo auto salon??, plus what else do you japanese recommend to do there .

Dates are not released yet but it is always at the beginning of January. The earliest I have seen it start is on the 7th. Next year the 9th-11th sounds about right since the 9th is a friday. So if you are leaving the states on the 9th that means you will arrive here on the afternoon or evening of the 10th. So the day after you arrive you should be planning to go to Makuhari Messe in Chiba for TAS. If you are busy on Sunday the 11th then you most likely will not be able to go to TAS unless you stop by on your way to tokyo from Narita Airport.

 

The only thing to do in Okinawa is leave your car at home and go get drunk!

Our drag strip is a 420 meter-ish parking lot that used for 0-150m(200=1/4mile) runs. 50m had to chopped off so the high-power cars would have enough stopping room.

TAS '09 will most likely be Jan 9-11. Actual dates will not get released until late fall.
