I will check into it today for ya. I have seen them for as low as 400,000 with no shaken/jci. The 13b cosmo can go for as low as 200,000.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! that car has got to be one of the baddest rotarys EVER!!!!!! i never heard of a manual single turbo 20b cosmo!!!! i now personally feel that its a way better deal than a 20b FD......i mean the engine actually belongs in the car, how perfect is that. if i do wind up staying that is the way i am going......no questions about it................although im pretty sure that set up in perticular would be expensive but a 20b cosmo alone would be good enough........................for now hahahahahahaha

Well if you do end up staying and want to get one hit me up cause I can get one cheap at the auction and then we can do the A/T to manual conversion as well as give you some options for single turbos that we have laying around! That is unless you have a space in Okinawa to do or get the work done at.

of course this sounds all too good but hw much do you think the end product will be, car and all..........its actually kinda up to me if i wanna stay here or not, but of course nothing in the military is 100% mine when it comes to decisions.
but just in case thing go my way i would like to know what i have to look foward to .

that is gorgeous !!! how much did you pay (if you dont mind me asking) and how hard was it for you to get your hands on it. is it hard to find parts for it such as coilovers and maybe lets say big brake upgrades.......a car like this really dosnt need too much excpet maybe a lip/ground effects that goes around the entire car, something suttle though . its luxury so i would focus more on making it look high end VS fast....with a 20b anyway who needs any more speed anyway...........................doesnt hurt though LOL. what year is it. i figure the older the better for import purposes.....once i leave here my stuff will be shipped to florida and florida seems be the trick when it comes to getting cars into the states and on the road that "arent" supposed to be there.

i have a 20b that i just picked on oki for 400,000. it is pretty much stock. i am in the process of doing the a/t to manual swap. and in the future will be doing a single turbo upgrade. i am located on kadena. i would like to find out where to get the coilovers though my stock suspension is shot.

I have a set of coilovers that I have not had time to install yet maybe this next weekend after I do JCI again 2 years seams to fly by.

Hi!

What transmissions are used for those conversions?

Harry

PS: I'm planning to import a Cosmo next year I guess. Are those huge japanese auctions a good place to get one or is it better to get one by a private owner or a regular car dealer?

Have anyone else tried to get the front struts off their cosmo? How did you do it? Im trying to change out to my coilovers and I cant get them out. On the FC it so easy less than 20 minutes for the whole car.

this might be a little off topic but do you know what other mazda products the suspension on the Cosmo is interchangable with?

just curious since i'm in Toronto and would rather not import struts when the time comes.
