I skimmed through this thread and the only thing I could think of that people didn't mention is to make sure your pipes are all butted up real nice before welding, this will help help you weld it easier and nicer. Sometimes I just fuse the metal on pulse without rod on some parts that don't need to be super strong and I want to look nice and pretty.
