looking for intrest in having parts made via cnc

Hi
I am a fellow rx7 enthusiast. I currently own a 93 fd for the past 8yrs. Not sure of I have the right section but here it goes. I have a cnc at my place of business and I am looking to see what intrest there would be in making parts for our cars. Can anyone give me some insight on what parts are needed or which are desired. The machine we have is a cnc router machine. I have the capability to route alluminum, plastic, wood etc. So let me know what is needed.

Thank you for your help!

Honestly...in the last couple of months there seem to be an upswing of people with access the tools/machinery you have and contacts with manufacturers. I believe we are seeing quite a few "needed" products that were not produced in the past or stopped being produced.

My suggestion would be to look at your car and figure out what YOU would like and/or need and then offer it...please be very careful about selling items without a vendor account...the Mods get (rightfully) poopy about this.

There is always a market for quality and always a market for low cost. There is always a better market if you can actually produce quality for low cost. =)

Good luck!

How bout a battery hold down with RX-7 machined across the top? I saw one on a supra (it said supra lol) that looked really cool, plus im sure my battery is getting tired of flailing around in my engine bay! That should be pretty cheap. Its just a flat piece of aluminum with a word routed across it.

These are already been made so they would have to be cheaper to compete with other vendors.

Saw these on a guys pic in an album, they're $131 plus shipping, but I think they can be done better. Ac *****. They have for fd only, how tough would it be to do ?

How about the power window center piece, deleting the joystick/coin holder and having that a cup holder. Top piece cnc'd with a plastic cup holder insert. Something like this guy's idea but better.

Unfortunately I am not capable of making dimensional types of pieces. Mostly flat pieces. if I come up with something I will post it.
