Carbon Fiber Pricing

Has anyone noticed pricing on carbon fiber has come down dramatically? I have one source already. Wanted to know if anyone else knows of other sources out there? Thanks

Really? There's a little bit of info on composites on RX7club......

http://www.uscomposites.com/

OR

http://www.fibreglast.com/

I just want to know if there were any new companies out there that may be a bit quicker in lowering their pricing.

If you get away from the car scene its really fairly cheap. Look up some companies that manufacture woven sythentic goods and you can buy it 80" wide for dirt money

Wow it recently dropped in price. I priced some material out a month ago and it was 30% more.

^^EXACTLY! I'm thinking it's going to continue the downward trend for a while. It will be nice to see it at early 2000 pricing. Whomever steps up to lower that price quicker will get my money next week.

I'm making a custom front spliter/diffuser setup and will be making other parts in CF down the road. 80" fabric would be awesome to get. What's your source Mel?

Well I'm looking into purchasing 10 yards of 2 twill weave CF and 10 yards of CF/kevlar 2 twill weave. As well as foam core, resin, baggage material, the hole nine yards, hehe.

Beginning next month I will be looking to buy materials. See what deal you can get on 2x2 twill and single ply carbon Kevlar please.
