building turbo manifold, metal fab guys input wanted!!
Im going to be building a turbo manifold for my fd...I know what your thinking why dont you just buy one well, i already have 2, this is just for fun. i will also be making another downpipe.
All material will be 304 stainless...but what size piping? 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2"?????
what size thickness? 11, 12, or 16 gauge?
i know that my downpipe will be 3", but does the thickness of pipe matter for that? 16 or 18 gauge?
Ok and when im fabing this up, is it best to keep all the runners short as possible? i was just going to copy the design of my obx manifold, just make the corrections its needs to fit a big turbo
pictures of awesome turbo manfiold are welcome along with any input...

i rather use 321 stainles
and the gauge of the downpipe ,at least in my book, is no biggie ,i try to use whatever i can thats thinnest ,for weight reasons
i try to keep the runners as short as the "situation" of the car permits me ,while trying to keep the runners in equal length
i do have pics , but for the love of me i cant find them , if i do i will post them
