Nevermind I figured it out, How would you be plumbing into the upper manifold? If I am able to get the Adaptor from you, I would def run this setup I've found Quite a few cheap Superchargers locally, I would also be running water injection But to me it would only be worth the effort if I can hit 250whp or so

would be easy and cheap if bypass and intercooler set up from sc could be retrofitted. make more of a bolt on. Hood clearance is abig factor. this makes me want to say forget fixing sc and fc. combine the two and put it on a pedestal (jack stands)

I still plan on finishing the manifold, but this will work as a good solution for now. and also let's me start working on the pully's.

I question the orientation of the SC, mainly due to oil concerns. The M90 and from what I understand all Eaton chargers through the years need to be positioned flat for the gears to receive proper lubrication.

If you go to the Eaton website it claims it can be mounted in any position

Isn't the oil presurised ?

On my setup it's going in the scrap bin. The bypass valve in this setup is for fuel economy, which is not a concern on a track car. If I was doing this on a road car, I'd plum it into where the BAC goes on the opposite side of the manifold.

Yeah hood clearance is a problem. I'm not planning to have a hood, but I do want to see if it fits under a t2 hood. I doubt it, but that would be nice.

Not on an eaton. On a Mitsu blower I have it is, but that one is a twin screw, not a roots. The oil in a twin screw is used for lubrication and importantly cooling. In a roots blower it's just to lubricate the gears.

Oh and here are a couple renders of the adapter for those interested. Next time I have it off the car, I'll take more pictures.

No, the snout is in the way. This is on a track car so I'll either ditch the hood or add a scoop.

The very first setup I was working on allowed the hood to close, but required a custom intake manifold and was going to take more time then I have right now.

You should go Road Warrior style and manage that Sc on a clutch type system to get away from people in rigged cars with a huge bottle of Nitrous bottle popping open at redline. lol.

Very interested in seeing results from this biuld. I'm guessing you're using an Na block. With the Secondaries wired open or removed. Wouldn't have to worry about power loss acrossed the band with the boost from the Sc.

The FD comes with 2 pulley sets, a 5 rib (alt, and waterpump) and a 6 rib (power steering and A/C).

Between working on new products and training a new employee I haven't had time to play with any of my 7's in the last few months. Thankfully with a bit more training I can get the new guy to make the pulley's for me which will help with projects on both cars.

Curious:
-With the M90 sc do you leave the 6PI (5th&6th) wired open, etc?
-Are you and can you use stock injectors?
primary? secoundary?
-What type ECU
stock
rtek 2.0
etc?
-Are you using stock TB (throttle body) etc?
is the TB before or after SC

trying get my FC ready for the a supercharger soon!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for pointing out the obvious on a FD but he needs to get a 6 rib alt pulley, crank pulley and water pump pulley if you were to read what his intentions are.

why waste your time use the pulleys off 20b or go the bone yard and find some

If your going supercharged then why not run a stock t2 ecu or run mega-squirt as your not going to be pushing a crazy amount of boost thru one of these superchargers. as for the secondary injectors i don't think they fit on a set up like this but you can get universal injector bosses ( holders) and make your own secondary's .
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAZDA...Q5fAccessories
also i would get the 6 port sleeves from atkins and wire them open as your going to have a supercharger on it with boost at idle so you wont miss out on any low range power.

I need to get the ball rolling and do this lol looks like a lot of fun

Yeaaaaaaaaa i got my M90 supercharger today!!!

IF get the TII ecu i would also need TII AFM and TII MAP sensor right?
As for the 6ports i got the pineapple inserts in them, all i have to do just wired them open?
As for the secoundary i was thinking just running 550 to start. (i already have the S5 NA rtek capable to run prim.460-secd.550 or prim.550 secd.550 etc) but sounds like i might have to get a TII ecu.
ALso looking to upgrade the fuel rail etc.

20b parts are hard to find locally, and I'd have a hard time finding anything to match the water pumps position and sizing in a 6 rib. Plus I need to make pulley's to convert my S5 to proper serpentine belts.
