i know it has been a very very very long time since this thread was actually being used.. BUT i just came across this..

Some one raced a stock FD around the track, its not Stiggy but i always imagined it would be in the high 1:20's. Also in Clarkson's top 100 cars of all time special the FD is briefly mentioned somewhere in the 70's. Jaguar E-type with added Wankel

i think we know Clarkson's favorite car of all time

I swore I saw a review on the fd in top gear. It was compared to the 3000gt/gto at the time. Could be wrong...
