What parts u need and have hard times to get in Europe

Please, vote for type of parts u have hard time to get here in Europe or its too expensive here...

And of course do not hesitate to list exact parts u are planning on getting this year and from where/at which price u are planning to get it.

Must have this year:
Cold Air Box + AFM Adapter & filter
Rear Camber Link
Sway-bar End Links Urethane
Fresh Air Headlight Cover
Jap Spec Flash To Pass Lenses
New Paintjob
Hopefully hIGGI can make most of it.

Offcause i want my parts as cheap as possible, so ill make my own airbox-make a template-put measurements on it and post it on the forum. Now everybody will put me down and tell me its wrong and how to do it right, but i dont care cause it will have been cheap.

Every single item is hard to get or at least expensive overhere... Ordering from the states is very costly, and no shop overhere sells decent RX products.... OEM parts are no problem, but a little expensive too...
Aftermarket is just not available...

AFM adapters - already placed order for casting, should have them by end of the month
Rear Camber link for FC - will make them once i will source locally spherical bearings
Caster/Camber plates - will make them once i will source locally spherical bearings
Fresh Air Headlight covers - could start making them, dunno yet

We are able to import things from USA or Japan at better prices than what u will pay if ordering directly from Shops and paying full tax/customs....

Just about any aftermarket parts are tricky to find for obscure cars that are 19+years old (FB) parts aren't too bad to get hold of in the UK but I would love to be able to get hold of some of the stuff that has been available through aftermarket suppliers in the UK but now has been discontinued

I have purchased:

USA...almost everything!
UK... rear seats, belt
Denmark...oil, coolant, hose clamps and other homemade projects.

I plan to purchase more from the UK but, it's not cheap.

Higgi, are you starting a RX7 aftermarket parts shop? If, so. Let me know if you can get FD parts as well.

Oliver

Nothing thats easy to replicate unfortunately

I've been looking out for a TWR steering wheel for a while (smaller diameter and thicker rim) and they used to do carb kits, turbo conversions , all sorts of cool stuff
as did the Elford mazda dealership

Mike, turbo conversions could be done with a stock FC turbo if you keep boost level "moderate" ;-)
You'd need a better carb, like webber or mikuni, so you can have more fuel. Or you can always try to find a 12AT, I know there are a few available in the UK...
Personally there aren't that many parts I really need/want, I almost have everything by now :-)
No, seriously, what I'd like is a decent ready to install 13B to 12A chassis engine mount/bracket, and an oil pan for the FC-engine to fit my FB. Also need a good free flowing muffler once the turbo 13B is in. Still no progress at all though :-( Seems to be hard to finally get moving.
Might consider shortshifter, but have other costs first.
Oh, one more thing: either FD style or RX7-253 (Le Mans-racers) style mirrors would be cool, but they must be powered. If someone has a set of FD mirrors for a reasonable price...

Bosch injectors and fuel pumps are made here in Czech Republic......working on getting them for wholesale prices or cheaper
Problem is every bosch parts dealer here will ask you first : for which car is that made ?
They can`t understand that there are universal parts around .....

Been looking for an rb exhaust system for some time now....someone on this forum is selling one but hes in the us and i might end up paying new price for used stuff (shipping and taxes).

I cant seem to find any aftermarkets over here!

I tryed contacting killerbee europe but they seem to be either asleep or dead down there....

Has anyone ever considered starting an import bussiness?

I mean if there is enough demand for an import bussiness.....UK shops are to my expierience very expensive...

Don't bother to keep the stock carb. Spend some money and get a Weber or Mikuni with matching manifold, and a RB exhaust.

market is not big enought to be a normal dealer, i am more likely going to help you guys with gettting stuff from USA / Japan / Australia cheaper where most savings would not be dealer markups but cargo shipping and some savings on taxes ;o) (kind of group buy's)
