Steve Kan tuning?

Just wondering how many people would be interested in getting Steve over here to tune our cars? I plan on gauging interest of this thread and PMing him to see if he would be interested

There would be a few glitchs to work out.

1) Suitable centraly located dyno location(s)
2) Getting enough people interested!

So who's intersted?

well, i suggest doing some searches for Dyno's which will allow you to tune on them, as it seems to be hard to find atleast here in CZ

dyno's i know about here in CZ are usually only able to make a run and then give you graph, not holding load where u need it for adjustments on the fly....

every time I drive in Germany there seems to be a reason not to fast: construction, traffic yam, idiots on the road etc... Never went over 240 km/h.

Im intrested in tunning from Steve Kan. I have many mods on my FD an could have some good tuning infos or tuning its self for the car. I have an Power Fc and know that Steve is the best Tuner on this.
So nun sage mal was hast du genau vor? Wo solls hingehen und wieviel würden wir berappen müssen.

^ wish i can understand german, without doing google translation. Hey Higgi are u familar with 3rd gen rebuilds? My US spec FD should be here next month and it needs a rebuild. Coolant seals starting to leak. Are the coolant seals kinda like head gasket on pistons engines, but are sandwich betweens the housing.

never did 3rd gen but don`t expect it to be much different than 2nd gen engine wise, its still 13B and even for 2nd gens we are using some FD parts in our rebuilds.....

Hey brother, a third gen rebuild is exactly like the others. I would recomend getting the Atkins rebuild kit and the OEM 2 piece 2mm mazda seals. Is that the motor I'm supposed to be street porting??

If so give me a ring so I can start sourcing the parts for you from my contacts back home.

No i think the motor that "wants" the street port is on AFgreasemnkys FC. Its going to be atleast 4 weeks until my other FD arrives here, so im still doing research. Its funny the more i read the more i want to do an LS1 swap.

Yeah, newer V8's seems to be very interesting choice - loosing rotary spirit, but getting something in exchange (reliable power, torque, cheaper parts)
