No doesn't matter I just like the look of the fire black from mclaren lol. As long as I got the code I can mix it I think lol. Just let me know what info u can find on it. If the code doesn't work over here yet depending on what manufacture of the paint can u send me the list of the corridating paint cans to mix it from and if it's by sikkins etc

Well you have several factors that are going to make it near impossible to get this color. One is that it's considered an elite color by Mclaren, which very few will have it and they may not release the actual formula. Second is the fact that the car hasn't been on the market for more than a couple months and has low production numbers anyway. Lastly, I'd put money on it being at least a three stage if not a four stage paint job.

From the descriptions I've heard of the color, your best bet for replicating the color is going to be a silver metallic base, then a heavy rootbeer candy, then a orange or copper pearl coat, then your clear. But that's just a guess, cause that "black" actually looks quite brown from what I can tell.

Another option is to take a look at a Black Java Pearl VW GTI...it's another black with a cool colored pearl effect that may be easier to get your hands on.

erm nvm he just got the email back from his boss that pretty much told me that the only time the paint code will ever be aviable to the public is in about 5 years ish. The people who complete the traing for the paint for mclaren are legaly bound to secret. So i guess im just going to have to find like a sample chip and experment lol . If you can get me a sample chip of it that would be great
