Oil question

Hello to everybody..

What kind of oil do you use for your rotary engine?

I have put a Valvoline 20w50 mineral oil, have a good pressure, super compression but smoke a little blue..

Any help?

My car is FC3S TII, with bolt on-s, no emissions and no oil injectors...

Thank you!

Are you running pre-mixed gas? I assume you are because you have no OMP.

If so, you may be running too much oil in the gas.

During the winter I use Mobil1 10w30. In the summer I'll use Mobil1 20w50. Probably goes without saying, but both are synthetic.

I run 20W50 VR1 Valvoline mineral for past 8 or so years in all my rotaries, no problems...

If your car does burn oil and stock OMP is blocked off, its either seal on turbo going bad, oil control rings or side seal.

Side seal is usually easy to diagnose, spark plugs on one rotor would be darker and more oily...

I believe the ratio is 1:100 parts oil:gas.
