If I could ever get off my *** and get the stickers made then we might at least resemble a car club lol. If I can ever get over this friggin cold that I've had for a week now then maybe I could make it out to do something. My birthday is on Sunday so I'm goin' to try and do something (if I don't still feel like ***). I may go tomorrow afternoon to the garage and start tearing down the coupe (hint, hint**Josh**, lol). But at the moment Ingos' car is down for the winter and there is a very good possibility that the vert will go into hibernation as well .

Anyway, things are going to slow down a bit thru the winter, but we're all still here. I have been trying to get settled into this new job and I think I have about accomplished that, so I should have more free time to play with cars!
As far as this weekend tho....I say we all meet at AFs' house to consume adult beverages and watch Initial D untill someone pukes, LMAO! You know....the old "take a shot every time someone hits the ebrake" lol!


As for tomorrow morning......I will be sleeping untill at least noon......

Yes...as Ingo said, it's official. Not this coming weekend, but the next weekend (16th) I want to have an OMGWTFBBQ at the new garage. I figure we might as well break it in good. I'll get the meat and you guys bring whatever (beer, whiskey, rum, etc.) and we'll have us a little hoe down in G-town! If it's cold then I would suggest dressing accordingly because we don't have the heat situation under control just yet. Anyone is welcome, just let me know you want to go and I'll PM you my phone # so you can get directions. It's in Geiselberg, which is about 10-15 min. from the front gate of Vogelweh. I would love to see some new faces show up so we can get all acquainted and such and start making plans for next spring.


Also as a side note, anyone needing parts from an S4 turbo II now would be the time to start calling dibs on stuff.........

Oh and the go cart idea is exellent!!!! Is it a slick track like they have in Japan or is it a grip track? Maybe we should meet for go carts then go to the bbq............Whoever gets the crappiest lap time buys the beer lol!

its a slick track, and they have monthly meetings every month for fast time drivers, 6 hours and 4 races of driving all for 40 euro spend 2 hrs total in those karts. you have to be in the 41s to even be invited by the owner. whoa cookout, drinks, inital d, and driving games? ill try to bring some girls...

OK everone.......Post up if you are interested in coming to the 1st annual OMGWTFBBQ!!!! I need to know if we're gonna eat steaks (if only a few of us are gonna show) or burgers and brats. Also, I just found out that my bbq grill is assed out so if someone has one to bring let me know, otherwise I'll go buy one (we need one for the garage anyway!). Don't be shy.....let's have a good start of winter bash!!!!

the price for the karts are pretty fair, if u have lots of people then i can talk them down the prices. 1 hour of driving is 45 euro or so or maybe 50.. u can split it into 2, 30 minute sessons or whateven. they also have cup races where u race for metals. first race is qualifying, 10 mins or 15 mins. after a 10 minute break u can do the full 40 minutes of straight driving. just a warning, ur arms will be worned out and start getting back pains pass the 30 minutes time.. do you have directions posted up? this is on the 16th weeken right?

Ok...if we're going to go to the cart track then we will definately have to formulate some sort of game plan. I think what I want to do is get the garage set up early sans meat and then have everyone meet in K-town or something, go to the cart track and then pick up the meat (from either Jasons or my house) on the way to the garage. That way all we have to do is get there and start cookin'. I have a camping size cooler to keep drinks cold and we could even bring a coffee maker if it's chilly enough. If I can figure out how many people are comming then I'll get all the meat and you guys can just bring drinks and maybe some chips and bread. My moms makes a killer salad as well so I'll probably bring that also. Also, if you guys want I can bring a TV and dvd player if we can talk Jason into brining his Initial D set!!!!! If you have lawn chairs (or those camping chairs) then I would bring them because we don't have any seating yet.

As far as directions it's not hard to get there, but it will be much easier to just follow me there, especially if we're going to meet for the carts. Once I get a better idea about who's coming then I'll post up a central meeting place. And yes... it's on the 16th which would be a Saturday.


If there's anything that I'm forgeting then let me know and I'll get it taken care of.

The kart place is open until 1 am on saturday. so that gives us a lot of flex time. is his initial d set english dub, or jap/ english subtitle? the dubs blow and ive seen all of the ep/movie.

i have 3 camping chairs in my bus and maybe i can bring a foldable bank and table same used in beer or wine tents... i hope you know what i mean :-)

initial D iss still cool but have everyone a german version lol
