My FC3S can't be idling!

Yes. My car can't be idling, and have very hesitations with throttle input.

When we got the car, it have some problem to start, and idling. We got a new engine, but i was a US model, so we have to mix them together, so we could use the new engine blok. Now the car can start with out problems, but we still have the other problem

I thinks its a vaccume problem, and 1987RXguy think the same, but i can't find it

Hope there are someone from Denmark how can help me!

Check your TPS (throttle position sensor)!
You can find a manual on how to do it at; http://www.iluvmyrx7.com

To check for vaccumleaks, just buy a bootle of "starting-gas" and spray it around the engine at idle. If you have any leaks, the idle will increase a little bit when you spray at the leaking point!

Make sure you have something to stop a fire with... Startgas is very easy to put fire to!

Hej Kim

I WOULD not recommend this trick at all. If the gas catches fire, you might have quite something else to worry about then vacuum leaks! I know this trick was/is common practice with carbs, but there too it is dangerous!
