Yeah, but it wouldn't be a RX? So maybe an RX8? My bet is still on a RX3/4, or he's just joking us around and bought a model kit or something...

OK, then I can only support your decision to enhance the collection Now, if you'd have replaced the Mariah on the other hand... you'd be doomed forever!!!
BTW: do you actually know of any other Mariah's in Europe beside ours? They seem to be extremely rare, at club meets the cars always draw a lot of attention to them.

So, here's the story!
I got this offer that I could not say no to...
"Do you know anybody who could take care of a car for me? It's free if you come and get it."
Rotary mad man as we are... you don't say no....
So for 150euro (transport, Stockholm-Jonkoping) I got the car home today.
The condision is better than I had hoped.
There is of course rust but not as much as usual.
It has been rustfixed probably 10 years ago or so. The underside had thick black rust protector all over it!
There is some rust on the left side that I have to fix before I can use it...
The interior is not to bad just alot of doghair..
The engine turns over and still has all apexes.. phsss....phsss..
They have done somthing with the ignition and the airpump is taken out.
Apart from that it looks stock.
I'm olny the 5:th owner, the first owner had it untill 91.
Well... here are some pictures!
And i guess Bart had the closest guess.. I'll buy you a beer next time we meet!!

???? Mireck have you been drinking??? Or do you mean another meeting then what I mean with Lahr? Cause I never saw one there, not in real life, not on the many pics on the internet. It's always just my car that returns (found it on Austrian, German and French sites by now )
Anyway, if you have any pics or links: post them. Magnus and I are very intrested in other Mariahs in Europe!
Now for Magnus new car: waaawww! I have been thinking of trying to find one aswell, but went for an RO80 in the end. Rx5's aren't very common overhere you know! I know one car in Germany, but that's it.
Have fun working on it, and post pics of the progress!
PS: tomorrow I get my car...
