europe Fd3s motor mount question

Well I have to change my motor mounts and I found that mazda have two version of mounts.
One is for soft suspension cars and is cheap and the other is for hard suspension car like rz and is double price.
Anyone know what version the europe model have?

well, it should not matter
if you are going to change them, get ones you want (for stock car i would take soft, for modified car hard)

Petro's, I just received 7 sets of Noltec motor mounts for our guys in Denmark and a friend in Belgium. I would suggest you join in on the rx7 club GB that killswitch mentioned or contact Noltec directly.

I have read reviews from guys who use noltec and no one report any problem.
But I am afraid if the noltec mount create a vibration in low rpm. also the price for noltec is very close to oem standard mounts.

Our fd's are getting pretty old. Mine is 12 yrs old and the stock motor mounts are starting to show it. I could probably still cruise around town for many more years but during hard runs and after many trackday, my 3rd has become a problem. I recently solved the 3rd gear problem by making my own engine damper unit. Works VERY well but the main issue is the mounts. I decided to go with the Noltec because I feel it's simply a improved material than the stock rubber products. I wish I could give you a hands down report (vibration) but I just recieved my mounts and wont have them on the car until after the winter. The noltec mounts have been installed on a bunch of FD's in the past months and if the vibration was a issue, I would think we would have heard of many reports of unsatisfied customers. Bad news always travels fast. I do feel, either way you go, the decision is yours ... stock or Noltec... and you will be happy with the results.

good luck

You can get solid mounts cheap on eBay if price is your biggest concern

Feedback on the Noltec mounts from previous GBers:

Feedback from FD owners about the Noltec Motor Mounts:

"i'm running the noltec mounts, with little to no vibration as well, the increase in shift crispness was awesome" -scrubolio

bought noltec motor mounts, awesome mounts, fast shipping" - scrubolio

"the mounts worked out great and were pretty easy to install. My old mounts were so bad they just kinda fell apart when I unbolted them so you could imagine the difference it made. The best thing though is the absence of any vibration while driving, without sacrificing performance. I highly recommend them to those who dont like their polly mounts or need to replace OEM. Thanks again." -level7

I bought the NOLTEC motor mounts and love them! No vibration and nice shifting. I had a rebuild done and decided to go with his mounts and they are great! None of that solid bolt throught the poly mount vibration. -mecman

Nice mounts by the way, (thanks wanklin) no vibrations and it did make my shifting easier. -level7

I'll chime in here...the price is $259 and the mounts really are top notch! The install is very easy (write w/pics coming soon) and the feel is awesome. Shifts are extremely crisp and theres NO noise/vibration at all. I cannot say enough about these mounts and if you are looking to swap your old worn out mounts either to simply upgrade/ and or have to for power output you will be completely satisfied. Bump for a new option in Poly mounts... -turb0x2

Installed and they are nice, you can tell the difference instantly, I highly recomend these motor mounts - FJDRX7
