I want to ride in an FD on the Autobahn, can you help?

I will be travelling Europe for a month and will eventually make my way through Germany where I plan on renting a car to experience the German Autobahn. It would consider it an amazing favor if an RX-7 owner in the area could take me out for a spin on the Bahn around the second week of April. I will be flying into Munich and travelling north to Berlin where I will depart via air.

Also, are there any sports car rental firms that cater to individuals like me? I essentially want to rent a car for just a few hours minimum to say that I've driven the Bahn.

Your advice is greatly appreciated,
Robert

Hi Robert,

no problem to take you for a ride. Well, can offer you a ride in my Single turbo powered FC as my FD will be road registered from May. The FC is OK to go over 280km/h so should be funny as well.

You can rent a car from sixt, no problem, but only if you are at least 23 years old. The company's here rent cars on a daily basis only, so no chance to rent a car for just few hours.

Iwan, that would be great! Thank you very much, I will certainly you up on your offer ;o)! I am turning 27 in June so I should have no problem renting a vehicle.

I've looked into renting a Porsche, but unfortunately can't justify the 1000+ Euro per day to make that happen. My most realistic option is going to be a 3 series, or perhaps 5 series BMW.... Will report back ;o)
