Cheap Tires in KMC

Is there any prefered vendors out in the KMC that yall use to get your tires from??
Granted this may be a tire section question but I need to know where the deals are for this area in a short amount of time.

I got my Cooper Zeon ZPT's at the Pulaski auto parts store for a little over $300 and I'm real happy with them. I did have to order them to get the size I wanted, but they came in less than a week. The only problem is that the people at that parts store are friggin' morons (sorry if any of you are friends with them, but it's true) They NEVER get the price right the first time (if they don't have it in stock and have to order it). For example, I went in yesterday to order a set of FD plugs for Mireck and the guy tells me they will be around $4 or so. I'm thinkin "cool, good plugs for no so much". So I go in today to pick them up and first off the guy trys to tell me that I don't need to worry about gapping them because all NGK plugs are gapped. So I'm like "What are you talking about? They're rotary plugs there is no gap." LOL, he gets all frustrated and tells me that he knows ALL NGK PLUGS ARE PREGAPPED. So I then have to take one out of the box and show him that there is no gap because they're ROTARY plugs. LOL! Anyway, after all this he's like "that will be $84 for the 4 plugs" Which is a long shot from $4 bucks, but they were platinum so the $84 is correct. Anyway long story short, they don't know cars and they don't know how to read the part books. They can get you what you need, but they almost certianly will give you the wrong price. Truth be told, I think they get alot of their stuff from GK Auto so I'm probably just going to start going there. The one time I dealt with them (GK) they knew what the hell they were talking about. Btw, sorry for the novel, but I had to get that off my chest.....

I know how you feel. I never tried pulaski auto parts I didnt even know you could order parts at the DIY shop but the Auto Pride store is useless. Cmon what auto store dosnt carry lugg nuts for a frikkin Honda. Last week I went in there for a tube of silicon and lo and behold as i'm walking down the halls I find hangers for mounting a mirror in your batheroom.. WTF?? Unless there is some elite auto trick involving mirror hangers I dont think those should be there. Some of the German guys I dB with and LNs i know mentioned this magic place called Burgerss (or somthing prononced similar). Never been there but its supposed well staffed and stocked. Ill keep ya posted. (End of Rant)

LMAO! I saw those mirror hangers also! WTF is that? That place is basicly worthless. Unless of course you own a Merc or a BMW, then they might actually have something for you. As far as I'm concerned from this point on the only thing I'll buy from them is car wash stuff and oil because thats about all they have that's actually worth a ****. Unless I wanted a fancy set of gay *** flamed seat covers, LOL! And if you find out where that other place is then please let me know. Oh and btw, Mireck turned me on to a good place to get plugs. Sparkplugs.com has the same platinum plugs that Pulaski APS had for $21 for only $7.60. Hmmmmm....I smell price gouging......

No that was just the plug, but shipping for a few plugs can't be that expencive. I would say that even with shipping they will still be cheaper than $21 each.

I've been thinkin' about going up a rim size in the near future and I've been lookin' into Nitto NT 555 or the NT 01 tires. A lot of people are runnin' these tires on the track and they look real good wrapped around a nice rim.
