1st gen for sale in Homburg....

I passed it at a car lot near the Homburg University the other day. I didn't get to stop and actually look at it, but it had the rotor shaped wheels and they wanted 3,700 euro for it. For a tiny moment I thought about buying it just for the wheels. If any of you want more info on it I am going to check it out more closely on Wensday just for fun.......

So I went and looked at it today......It's basicly in good shape. The interior looked really good except for the lame *** seat covers on both the front and back seats. The motor started ok, but had some oil leaks here and there and the power sterring pump was deleted. From what I could see by looking underneath the car the rust wasn't too bad, but the differential was leaking. The rotor rims were in pretty good shape and the paint was actually in pretty good shape as well. I ask the salesman about the price and informed him that 3,700 euro was WAY to much for this car and he said that the car lot didn't actually own it and that they were selling it for a customer. He said that the customers lowest price was 3,000 euro and I told him good luck with that and went about my buisness. If any of you are intrested in trying to get them to come down on the price the car is at Autohaus Fertich in Homburg, the number is 06841-1721207 and their website is www.autohaus-fertich.de .
