My question here is can i buy an upgraded chip from Pettit and intall it in my XS ECU? XS no longer makes these and thus doesn't support upgrading the chips. So can i put a pettit chip in?

funny thing, I have an XS chip but no XS ecu(sold it and couldn't find the extra chip at the time). here's my ad from when I tried to sell it alone.

I asked Pettit that about two years ago. NO!

They use different chips. You would have to send Pettit the ecu for complete rewiring and programming.
