Reason being I am almost done with my conversion, and will be rather anxious to get it started and see if it works...

I guess you could try it and see what happens, but on all the "parts needed" lists I've gotten from tuners familiar with the swap the ECU was always definitely on the list. I believe Dave from KDR mentioned that it might work but you would probably have no gauges and severe drivability problems especially with idling/stalling. I've got a 93 5 Speed Non CA ECU available FS, $100 shipped. Did you ever get the hose I sent you?

It will work but you will have a lower redline. I let my friend borrowed my auto ecu and he has been using it for 2 years already.

thanks guys, and yes jr, i did recieve it, thank you! I have ordered a manual ecu already, im just worried about the wiring, and how the switches will wire in. It shouldn't be a problem, worst case ill run new wires up to the ECU and tap into it there with the manual tranny sensors.. Just kinda wonderin if i can try it out first before i actually go into wiring it!
