When to upgrade the ECU?
I've read and heard a lot about upgrading the ECU. It seems confusing as to when the right time to upgrade the ECU is.
I have a Pettit SS downpipe, Racing Beat Dual Tip Catback and manual boost controllers installed and a Pettit Cold Air intake on order.
Is it time for the ECU now or should have i already gone too far with the three mods?

I would say that it depends on what you do with that boost controller. You are allowing your car to breath fine, once you begin more air flow you have to consider your fuel requirements. If your stock ECU can't handle your upgrades you will have problems. The way to tell is with a good Air/Fuel monitor to see if you are running rich or lean, I personally use the HALTUNER. Your current set-up sounds safe as long as you watch your BOOST.
