What's your wideband?
I'm looking to pick up a wideband, since the stock O2 sensor needs to be replaced. I've been looking around at a few different brands, but wondering what some of you are running. Any brands to stay away from, good/bad experiences? What do you think? Thanks

a wideband doesnt replace the old o2 sensor, you weld on a new bung for the o2 sensor that comes with the wideband.
I have the aem, no problems at all. The only thing that you might run into is, if you still have the airpump, false readings. Like in my case you may think your running lean at idle but its the airpump just throwing it off.

A wideband should be placed as far away from the engine as possible.
Replacing your factory O2 sensor with a Wideband in the stock location with GREATLY shorten the life of the sensor, and will sometimes read very sperattic (sp)
Buy a new factory O2 sensor and weld on another bung right before the cat.
I use an Innovate LC-1 sensor and XD16 display

What would the benefit of removing the stock O2 sensor and just running the wideband? Also, for the stock sensor, would you recommend a stock replacement with quick connect or a bosch that I need to wire up myself? Large difference in price, just wondering about quality. Thanks

Anyone have any input? To my understanding, wiring up the Bosch #11027 will remove the heater function that the stock O2 sensor has. Has anyone ran this setup and noticed any difference?
