what if no 3sec. led light when testing for codes
88 10th anv. turboII
tesing for codes today and we didn't even get the led light to light up for the 3sec's. we know it works tested it on a battary...lit up fine. My question is whats could make the diagnostic connector go bad? or what does the diagnostic connector run to. trying to trace the problem back to something.....just what???
Might sound like a dumb ? to most of you but we are newbee's we worked on other cars but this is a whole new world to us. We just got a new ECU and could that be the problem?
Also We still can't get the fuel pump to work. We tested the pump to the battery ran fine so we know it's working. But when hooked up to the car.....no fuel pump. So we know our problem is some where from the fuel pump up. Question is where? HELP
