1. the ecu wasn't the problem in the first place OR
2. you bought a bad ecu.
3. could be the harness.

what were your symptoms so that you felt you needed a new ecu?

wasn't the ecu to begin with...

the ecu was working fine (it was mine he bought). it sounds like the ecu was fine in the first place, and from talking to your dad, your mechanic doesn't seem to know what he's doing and is just throwing parts at the problem now.

on a side note Palumbo1337, i told your dad that i'd be glad to take a return on the ecu if there was problems with it. he called me yesterday and said *my* ecu was broken, and the mechanic had fixed your old broken ecu (how the hell did the mechanic fix a ecu?). sounds like i'm getting the old switcheroo pulled on me, and someone's trying to return your old broken ecu for a refund. since your dad didn't call me back like he said he was gonna, care to fill me in on the details of what's going on here?
