(Tried search) Is the 2nd bung "essential" for tuning?

(Tried search) Is the 2nd bung "essential" for tuning?

I'm getting my PFC tuned soon, and I was wondering if it's really essential to have a second bung welded to my HKS downpipe? A bung I'll use once or twice in my life...
Can't I just take off the narrowband sensor and replace it with the wideband sensor for the tuning session?
