Timing Map Tuning ?'s...
I have a Power FC and Commander and need help with timing map tuning. In fact I believe that there are alot of us that do. Fuel maps are pretty self explanatory, but only the tuner shops seem to dive into the timing.
My question is whether or not any of you can shed some light on what the hell we should be striving for. The Power FC has both a leading and trailing map that can be edited.
Theory would be great. At least give me some basics.

I would love to know some more about this to. There was a thread on here a couple of months ago where people like RICE RACING explained some of the principals of ignition tuning but just when the thread was starting to get really good it kind of died. I remember the last post was from Cosmo Donk saying how he had learned heaps and to keep it up, but that was it. Hopefully someone can give us some info because there are heaps of people on here who are in the same boat as you.
