You're comparing a brand new Electromotive unit with the previous generation Haltech?&nbsp That's not fair.

The new Haltech is supposed to be out very soon, which should be more comparable with the Electromotive TEC-III.

If you like bolting on a new ignition trigger system, that's your choice.&nbsp The Haltech can use the entire stock ingition system, which might be of some use to some people.

well Ryan the deal is ELec USA has a exclusive deal with the mother CO.

They know very well the exchange rates
favors THEM when they recieve discounted prices on UNITS when the US currency goes up
do they pass those saving to the PUBLIC? NO

So yes IT IS cheaper if you BUY direct and skip the EXCLUSIVE importers
no matter what EMS you buy

The Haltech as said before has a HUGE RX-7 user base, therefore it is better for our cars.
The look and feel of the software doesn't matter to me as long as the hardware does what I want it to do.

It seems stupid to not buy for a better price? I know that you guys in the US get bent over hardcore when looking to buy our EMS systems, I herd Autronic SMC there is over $2000US, I will sell you one for $2000AUS !

I know they need their profit margins, but that is just CRAZY, Hell they make HEAPS of money of me buying it for $2000Aus!

I would buy it from redline rotary, they have been into Wolf from the start and they are a very reputable business, I do not know Alex as a friend but have spoken to him a few times and have seen his work for the last 10 years...good guy

You know what's CRAZY - Haltech USA won't lower their prices even though the Aussie dollar took a crap last year!&nbsp Del is shooting themselves in the foot - this just opened the door for Aussie dealers to sell Haltechs into the USA for CRAZY prices, even shipped internationally!&nbsp My hook-up call sell a E6K, flying lead, 3-bar MAP, complete at $1,200.&nbsp Haltech USA *wholesale* can't even touch this price...

We were trying to get Del at Haltech to lower the price due to the advantage in exhange rates a couple years ago, but he flatly refused.&nbsp Now Haltech USA is losing out due to all the "gray market" imports.&nbsp Haltech USA will FLATLY refuse to work on these units not sold through Haltech USA...

Still high TED

1200 is kinda high.. I thought that was pretty much going price for the setup you listed.. I can get that same setup for 1580 aussi shipped.. i think the current exhange rate is .5576 = 881 us dollars... for that same kit shipped.. I'm the process of buying the same kit expcept with two extra sensors for the haletch replacing the stock.. air temp sens and coolant temp sens. for around 960...

This is for:
E6K computer
flying-lead harness
ALL sensors - TPS, water temp, air temp
3-bar MAP
Connector kit
Manual
Program disk

I know you can run the Haltech without a bunch of this stuff, but this is what I term a "complete" kit.&nbsp The $1,200 covers shipping to to your door in the U.S.

Compared to Haltech USA prices...
E6K computer - $1,000
Flying-lead harness - $150
Sensor "kit" - $100
3-bar MAP - $110
Connector kit - $40
Manual - $30
Program disk - $30
(All prices in US dollars)
This breaks $1,400 AND you gotta pay shipping on top of that!
