Standalone ECUs
I was wondering, what is a good brand for ECUs for the FC3S S4s. I was planning to get one, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also, when I get one, will I still need a fuel cut defenser, turbo timer and a boost controller? Or do the standalones take care of that?

yo, Check out the Microtech series Haltech and i'm just going to look into megasquirts..
As for Fuel cut defener i'm not too sure, Turbo timer i think you will still need as you also will need a boost controller..
by the way, Beautiful car ro... May i ask what body modifications you have? Looks like wide rolled front fenders, rolled rear fenders N/A mirrors, modified front bumper with an aftermarket lip?

Your ems should be something your nearest tuner is familiar with Haltech\Microtech. Megasquirt may be on the affordable side but I dunno if you will find many tuners wiling to help you out with it so if you go that route you may be on your own for tuning it. Just about every EMS will eliminate the need for an FCD.

You could always go for the MS plug and play unit. Its cheaper and you dont have to make your own harness, but that can either be a good or bad thing.
