I dont know exactaly what the pros and cons of getting a new one are. CAn you tell me wat exactaly it does, and what u like or dislike about aftermarket ones, and also maybe suggest one and give a few reasons along with a price and locationi can buy it. Thanks

I'm assuming you're talking about an aftermarket ECU?

If so, there are many choices available - I always recommend a tuner that is local to you as getting support is the #1 problem with these things.&nbsp Having someone local to you really keeps the frustration levels down with encountering problems - and trust me, you will run into problems.

Aftermarket ECU's allow you to adjust fuel delivery and ignition timing to suit your needs.&nbsp Now, with that said and done, the downside is that adjusting these parameters incorrectly will quickly reward you with a blown engine - I'd highly recommend reading up modern fuel injection system.
