I'm planning a big conversion for my 1st gen RX7. The car currently has a 12A with Mikuni carb and RB exhaust. I got hold of a 13B (actually a complete FC) N/A, european spec, 150HP. The engine will be rebuild, using TII rotors and rotor housings. A TII turbo will add a little boost, together with front mount IC and custom piping. I was thinking to run non turbo set up first, using stock ECU, yet bigger secondary injectors.
Later on I'd ad the TII Turbo, on a custom made manifold. Since the stock N/A ECU probable isn't capable of doing it's work in a turbo engine, I'd like to know the best solution. Would a TII ECU be good? Or maybe a Haltech? If so which one? Price is rather important, as I'll have to get those things (except the stock TII) from Australia or USA. This means import taxes!!!
