Safc S-afc and R.P.M reading

I have the unit working now but the RPM read out does not match the tachometer. At idle it reads different by a few hundred RPM and at 3k its different by 1K Rpm. Is it likely there is another input to connect to? It seems to maybe need to be connected to the negative side of one of the trailing coils. What do you gents think?

Isn't there anyone who knows the FD electrical system. Really again If you cant just bolt it on your lost. There has to be someone who has picked and probed the electrical system. I have only own my FD for 4 months and have made an effort to get to know the system. Come on guys is there no one amongst you?

Most likely you need to set the AFC for the proper settings, it is well documented in japanese :P ... but setting the engin type for rotary is not in the menu options - I can't remember the exact setup to get the RPM's to match very closely to the tach cause I junked the AFC and got a real EMS but look at the docs ... If you still need help, I can download the AFC pdf's from their website and tell you what to set ... the wiring of course could be a problem also, its in and out on a few and 12v + and ground .. only like 5 wires to splice ... I can get and FSM and double check your docs the way you hooked it up to be sure its correct ...

send me a PM if you dont hear from me soon, as I am not in this thread much ...
