Question Rewiring alternator?

I had an EMS unit installed at a local shop, but they closed down. I don't think they wired the alternator the right way. At idle the Voltage is at 11.8v and at above 3000RPM at reads 13.1v. If I leave the car seating for more then 4 days it drains the battery completely. I Have a 89-91 alternator.

please help.

HA! It sounds like it's working just like mine. My voltages are almost exactly like yours. I have underdrive pulleys. Do you?

Mike is right. If you have electric fans and a big stereo system it will be even worse.

Yes I do have underdrive pulleys, electric fan and a small sound system. But if the car is seating for 4 days the battery should not go dead. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem. thanx

My friend once had a starter that was drawing electricity while the car was sitting.
