what do you mean tell you what im trying to do???it says what i want in the thread title and my first post...i am going to be running a HKS T04R turbo and 1600cc injectors and i need some type of standalone....what do you guys recomend and whats good and whats bad?

Either go find a tuner in your area that you can afford, and have them spec something out, or do a lot more searching. You're showing up to the party without a clue and you're going to blow up your engine.

i am going to have my tuner install and tune the ems that i purchise and he recomended me to get a microtech but ive heard mixed reveiws about them thats why i started this thread because i wanna hear what you guys think....should i just go with the microtech?

Get the unit that you can get the best support for.
Even the best EMS is crap unless you know what you're doing.
If your tuner like Microtech, go Microtech.
Why throw him something he has no idea how to tune?

I can suggest MoTeC, but can your tuner adjust one?

but ive heard bad stuff about microtech...like the ecu can get messed up somehow and the maps get screwd up and it hits like a fuel cut...is that true?

Why not read up on Microtech in the Microtech subforum in here?
It's not supposed to be hitting fuel-cut unless you have the settings wrong...

Microtech makes a fine product if your primary concern is WOT. I had one in my FC for a while, but I traded up to an Autronic SM4.
