86 N/a Swap To A T2

86 N/a Swap To A T2

Hey guys im doing an a t2 swap and i ran into a problem, i got a t2 wire harness from an 88 and my car is an 86 and i notice that the fuel pump resistor is totaly differnet on my stock wire harness the plug is comming off of the engine harness and on the 88 and up its comming off of the body harness now my question is do i need to change my harness to an 87 t2 or will it work with the 88 t2 and what should i do? hit me up on here or at deveris_w@yahoo.com

Use N/a Wiring Harness And N/a Ecu And Ur Good, Ull Need A Tii Fuel Pump. I Just Did That Swap With A Friend

really that works i didnt think that would work my friend told me that we needed to get a t2 ecu and wire harness for the engine to work because thats the way he always do it but i didnt know that you could use a n/a ecu and wire harness on the t2 how long ago did you do it and how does the car run do you get good boost out of it

and also how does the comp read the timming of the car and what about the knock box control
