Pros and cons of...

the PMS engine management system.

I've found an excellent buy for a 2yr old system off a 3rd gen. Am considering an engine management system for my 4 port 13b when I get it built. Would I have to use a ECU from a 3rd gen or would one from a 2nd gen work just as well? Of course I would have to get the injected setup that RB offers for their Holley intakes since the engine wasn't originally FI.

The control box has Peter Farrell Super Cars sticker on it. Please someone give me some input. It was on a '94 rx7, would it work just as good with a 2nd gen ECU?

I'd stay away from anything that came from Peter Farrell. The guy is a crook, and I'd be suspcious of anything he's ever laid hands on. Not saying that he hasn't turned out some awesome cars, but he has screwed some people in a big-BIG way, and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with his products.

YMMV
