need a new ecu

Would like something that's programable/ able to fine tune every aspect of the motor (from idle, to WOT)... I'm thinking something like the Apexi pfc, Haltec, etc... Which ones are easy to use, work the best, pro's, con's, etc. If I get something like this we'll take it to have it custom tuned on a dyno. So help me decide which one to get, and the best place to buy it from.

Thanks
Chuck

you should search this topic. I know there are many topics about ecu's.

imo, i would say the apexi pfc is easier to use then the haltec, because the haltec requires a wiring job. Overall, the haltech is a better ecu. And also, the new AEM ecu is plug and play and has many features. dont know how many people have used it and how good it is.

but you should definately search this topic...

The Haltech E6K is a very popular ECU for cars like yours. True, installing one involves wiring, but it's really no more difficult than properly installing an aftermarket stereo system. There is a HUGE number of people with the same or similar cars using the system, so the amount of online peer support is temendous!

Yes, I am a Haltech dealer, but this is a product that I believe in and use on my own car. It's a fantastic piece of equipment, and is easily among the smartest purchases you'll ever make for your car. Contact me here or off the list via e'mail if you have questions.
