I got a paper with the power fc saying stuff for american market cars that I have to remove 4 wires from the harness, why do I have to?

Pull the pins from the connector. Try using the "search" in this forum. You will more than likely find the details you are looking for.

check this site out it will help u out. personally i didnt want to rip out the pins from the PFC so i just cut the damn wires. but its up to u. have fun.

 

The best way is to pull the pins out of the wire harness. You need to open the side with a small screw driver, and then use a paper clip to push out the 4 pins. That way, if you mess up you can go back.
I got 3 done, got pissed off with one and cut that.

 

I cut the pins... why you might ask... well the PowerFC cost 1k and I consider my car priceless... also I do enjoy having the option to uninstall my PowerFC and install it into a friends car to show him the power of the PowerFC/datalogit.
