Power FC vs. Microtech

So I'm doing a bit of research on both EMS' and some articles pointed out on qualities that the PFC lack.

I haven't found any articles comparing the two so it's difficult to relate between FD owners loving PFC's and FC owners lover MT.

I own a stock S5 TII and would like to start off with an EMS to smooth things out & etc.

Can anyone give me comparisons & experiences they have had with the two?
Any other opinions are welcome

Microtech LT8 and LT12 specifications are available at the BR7 Racing website.

Thanks but I've seen those sites already. I'm looking for comparisons.

eg. FD owners who have used both PFC & MT
which is more user friendly (from install to tuning)
which is more versatile & has more settings for control & etc

People rarely use PFCs in TIIs, and you're also going to be using your shitty stock wiring that is probably worn out and falling apart. Plus you will be paying almost twice as much. Good luck

Ya,Piranha is right about what hes telling ya.Its not just the powerfc that you want, which is about 2500 cdn which replaces it to a map sensor, you would also need the datalogit for full tuning capabilites, which is another i think around $500 which would total to $3000.microtech is less then that.theres no tuners around my area for any ems and i have to do the most myself so just plugging it in is a bonus for me,someone will be creating me a map on the pfc with a datalogit, even if i get a big turbo and i'll fine tune on my own from there on.I guess the advantage i see is the pfc for emissions, with microtech a manual omp can always be put on,and the pfc would be good because obviously its plug and play also you get to keep the knock control monitoring if you wanted to do own tuning.I went through the same **** to decide what would be better,i know it aint easy, says u live in edmonton, you may have more hookups out in alberta then me in manitoba so look around,i dont trust anyone tuning rotarys and microtechs or power fc's around here,i trust the forum..microtech seem user friendly, ems is only as good as the tuner,if i had a microtech tuner around here i would definietly get microtech,if i had a haltech tuner id get haltech and so on..Im on my own and im getting rid of my omp,i also dont have any emission controls,my decesion is pending for now because i need to r@r engine anyways.

Goodluck
