fuel ecu requirement
fuel ecu requirement
How many and what kind of modifications put on the FD's would require a fuel computer of some sort? im worry because with a certain amount of mods and no fuel computer can result in running too lean and engine detonation. im new to this forum so any help would be much appreciated.
Rule of thumb is 3 Mods and you need one...
Reality is everybody has a different car, and if you have a skilled mechanic, I've heard of a Peter Farrel IC and Intake Setup with DP and High Flow Cat. and Catback getting 12 PSI and 350 Hp, with Stock ECU...
best bet is talk to a maechanic that you trust or find someone that has done this successfully and ask him what he did.. since the ECU isn't the only thing you can monkey with to get the proper AFR (Air Fuel Ratio)
