Power FC question

I've heard the stock MAP sensor cant handle over 20 lbs of boost is this true ? if so with a power FC can i run a different map sensor to run over 20 lbs of boost or do i need to go with a haltech

do u have upgraded injectors and fuel pump, you shouldnt run more than 13pounds of boost on stock turbos with stock fp and injectors....

Yes, make sure you upgrade your fuel system before running that much of boost. Power FC is a way of tuning your car, but you need to make sure you have the parts to support the tunning.

without an additional controller .....

powerfc alone can only handle 1 bar or 14.5 psi

Lets say i have all the supporting mods and a single turbo to run over 20 PSI , now can I use a diff MAP sensor with the PFC or do i need a haltech or M2 or something like that?

PFC will work if you use the data logit I think... replace MAP sensor and tell it to boost at what ever... I am pretty sure

The power fc can handle almost 17 psi...which is the limit of the stock map sensor. If you change the map sensor the power fc can handle it..

the GM sensor is the one to use it is 3 bar and the PFC has options for it. Just find someone who knows with out question to show you .
